Bowl ( plastic or stainless)
Pestle or spatula

Recipe for making cake without oven:




1. Flour= 500g grams
Sugar= 120 Gram
Butter= 200 grams
Milk flavour= add to taste
Vanilla flavour= add to taste
Baking powder= 2tbs
Browny = optional

Procedure for making cake at home without oven

In this DIY I will be using creaming method.

 1. Weigh out the the ingredients and keep aside.
 2. Grease the cake pan with butter and set aside.
 3. Light the stove and place the pot on top; ensure the lid of the pot is well fitted to the pot. This is done so as to preheat the pot to temperature of least 120°C. to 150°C.

Whisk the egg and keep.
 4.  Pour the sugar and butter into a bowl.

 5.  Then cream the butter and the sugar in one direction ( mostly anticlockwise).

 6. Continue creaming until the mixture becomes fluffy and cream in color.

 7. Mix the flour and all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

 8. Pour the flour mix and the whisked egg bit by bit into the creamed butter and continue creaming in the initial direction to get a batter.

 9. If you are using liquid flavour, you can add it along with whisked egg.

10. Gently pour the cake batter into the baking pan.

11. Place the cake pan into preheated pot and tightly cover the lid.

12. Bake for 30 40 minutes.

13. Your cake is ready to eat when a cleans knife dipped onside it cone out clean without any stain of the better but oily.

Functions of the cake ingredients

Flour:
This is the major ingredients which add body to the cake.
Flour used in baking is mainly made from wheat.
It contains two major carbohydrate which play a crucial role in the rising of flour, they are gliadin and glutenin.
Most cereal lack this important components, this is why wheat is used mainly fr baking because it produces the best result ever.

Egg:
This is an important ingredients in cake, it acts as aerating agent.
This is the reason it is necessary to whisk the egg well to incorporate enough air into it.
The incorporated air helps to increase the volume of cake.
Egg also add nutrients such as vitamin, minerals and essential oil to the cake.


Butter:
Makes the cake soft and adds mouthfeel to the baked product.

Sugar: this is a sweetener which makes the cake sweet and palatable.

Flavors:
This is added to improve the taste and aroma of the cake.

Baking powder:
Helps to increase the volume of the baked cake.

Brown colour
This is quite optional, often added not to improve flavour but to give a characteristic chocolate colour to the cake.
